Ignorance of Indian Culture

We often tend to ignore our country's heritage and culture, trying to imitate something we are not.. Don't get me wrong.. there are great works of people out of India... but we often forget that we Indians ALSO have CULTURE... there is no need to go abroad to get those amazing pictures, we have what we want right here.
Well its an irony, isn't it? Foreigners who come here try to follow our culture and we their's... Funny World. :) Sad thing is even if we want to follow our culture, we can't. Because we are totally involved now and it cannot be avoided, but there is something we can do - PRESERVE AND RESPECT WHATEVER WE HAVE. There was once a Italian who said, " Please do not imitate our life styles, lot of things we do is superficial."

I used to believe that to get those beautiful, beautiful images I need to get out of this place and go abroad.. I was wrong. One trip away from Bangalore City, to the less developed areas of Karnataka showed me that India is truly beautiful and diversified.. what we find out, though not the same we can find here.

Again, don't get me wrong... I never meant to blame or criticize any culture, race or creed, my intension was to say that we have abundance of culture that the other worlds lack.
